Why An Irish Pub?
Why Not...?
You will enjoy the “craic, ceol agus ól”... that is “fun, music and drink” in Irish!!!!!
When you enter an Irish Pub you are not just entering a pub. You are walking through the door of history. You will find a friendly and family atmosphere. You can't create anywhere else... within these walls there is history.
In Ireland, find the pub where the owner's name or pub's name is proudly painted on the outside. Find the place where your grandfather or great grandfather sat around and listened to stories from the Seanchai (that means storyteller) or listened to the local musicians.
What do you want to drink? For Irish beer there is a perfect pint of Beamish, Caffrey, Harp, Guinness, Kilkenny, Kinsale, Murphy, O'Hare or Smithwicks. Try a pint of Bulmer's Cider... or try Uisce Beatha that is "the water of life" or Irish Whiskey. If you are the designed driver have an Irish soft drink either Club Lemon or Club Orange.
Try Pub Grub from crisps (that is potato chips) to Irish Stew, Sheppard's Pie or Colcannon (mashed potatoes and cabbage) or a simple soup and sandwich.
If your pub has live Irish music, have a pint, find a seat, sit down and enjoy. Traditional Irish music is filled with sounds coming from fiddles, tin-whistles, flutes, uillean pipes, concertina, accordions and the Irish drum Bodhran. If your pub is lucky enough to have a "snug," hurry and grab it. It's a little booth usually separated by a partition. A snug is a great place to have a pint and conversation.
AN IRISH PUB IS A CELEBRATION OF LIFE, THOSE WHO IMMIGRATED TO OTHER COUNTRIES AND SETTLED TO A NEW LIFE, AND THOSE WHO STAYED BEHIND.
THIS WEBSITE IS DEDICATED TO ALL IRISHMEN BOTH PAST AND PRESENT AROUND THE WORLD AND THOSE WHO ONLY WISHED THAT THEY COULD BE IRISH!!!!!
